New camera, new boots

While in the Lake District in September I treated myself to some new walking boots. I'd been getting damp feet with my old 20 year-old ones for some time. These cost me far more than I wanted to pay, but they are beautiful. I didn't realise how beautiful until I took this image of them with the Sony RX100 camera, my second best buy this year. I was really impressed with the detail in the image (best viewed large). For once I think I made some good choices.
