Shaken...but not stirred

It's seemed a very long week this week. Or maybe its just I'm tired and a little achy after rounders and cricket last night. It's funny how when you run, or attempt to run, you still think you can sprint like a teenager! In my head I do but in reality it must look like slow motion!

Good day at work, busy busy lots of calls and meetings. Nice lunch out to with Mrs Geer.

Excitement is building for Janes hen do at Southwell races, ladies day, on Sunday. Discussions of dresses, hats and more importantly the weather. Could go either way on Sunday. We have our cans of pimms and g&T cooling ready, whatever the weather does!

Before then though, off out on Mandy's hen night to Ilkeston. Always have a quality night out with the girls, don't often venture to Ilkeston though.

We all had pink top hats and sashes to wear! Steady on the g&t's, no mixing, but still found myself eating a chicken burger at half past midnight! It was divine!!

Minibus back at one. Think I took a 'souvenir' from the last pub as a hen gift for Mandy!! Top night as usual
