Bouncing baby

The day was enlivened by a visit from Sara and her new daughter. Sara is the first of out three maternity leave mums to bring in her new addition. And very well behaved too she was: Violet I mean. Others managed to elicit a beaming smile. As a strange man with a grey beard not long enough to be Santa, pointing a camera, I was a bit of an uncertainty. Still she produced this lovely expression at being in CHS. but like everyone else!!

Joining in the super moon mania, here's my hand held shot once the clouds had parted after midnight. No longer on the horizon you don't get the effect of size as the moon rises. But I still marvel that a small piece of hand held equipment can capture this detail from 223,000 miles away.
