Lazy Sunday for some

Archie went off for the day with Camila and her sister, JR went off to buy some bottling jars for her apple chutney project, and I occupied myself on the sofa in front of the tv - Remembrance Sunday always brings a tear to the eye. There are not many old soldiers left in my father's group - the Burma Star Association.

We were dismayed to read of the big earthquake in NZ. Having been in a few (fairly minor ones) when we lived there, we know how frightening they are.

Watched 'Brooklyn' on Netflix. Found it less than riveting. And to think that I nearly went to the cinema to see it, so good were the reviews at the time. That was a lucky escape.
