Farmer Boy

Well this is definitely an emergency blip. A photo of a photo, my grandson when he was four. He is just finishing high school and has been offered a carpentry apprenticeship. It is all he has ever wanted to be, has been hammering in nails and making things since he was very young. I thought both boys would want to be farmers but much and all as they love helping on the farm they want trades. The older one has just finished a course at PolyTech and he too has been offered an apprentice ship as a diesel mechanic and that is all he has wanted to do as well. Lucky boys to be offered apprentice ships and their father is lucky as well to get a carpenter and a mechanic to help on the farm. I am a lucky Gran to have two such neat grandsons. Two more grandchildren in Australia but sadly don't see them very often. Strange to think this year all four of them will be out working.
Full on day, up early to bake scones for morning tea at church. This afternoon mowed lawns and washed as in for another wet week, indeed it is starting to rain out there now. Have been out for dinner and forgot to take my camera.
