First of the Lilies

Another grey wet day. Decided to use my time wisely and get ahead  with some cooking I needed to do. Casseroles this morning, Shortbread and biscuits this afternoon. All safely sealed away in the freezer and in airtight tins. I put cellotape all round the tins as well that way they will keep really fresh for months. Mine wont need to of course as they will be devoured over the next two weeks.
I went out with the camera just on dark  and took some flower photos, not the best the dusk seems to have brought out some blue tinges.
The wet weather set to continue, my lawn is a squelching bog.
