An afternoon in Skipton
After my morning trip to the hairdresser we headed straight up
to Skipton to meet our sister in law and her partner who have been staying at Bolton Abbey in their caravan.
The original plan was to meet for coffee yesterday and spend more of the day together but the snow intervened. Never mind we had a very nice lunch in front of open fires and a long chat about recent holidays: Croatia and Norfolk for us and their September trip to America and recent acquisition of a caravan.
We left just as the sun was disappearing so it was a swift walk around the high street to look for a blip. Passing All Saints Church the last of the sun was catching the face of the clock and the spotlights were on illuminating the church facade.
Always lovely to meet up. Enjoy your last night R and I and have a safe journey home tomorrow.
