Into the blue!

What a difference today. Still windy bit a very warm wind and more importantly no rain, yet!

We headed out to do a short series of paths for the Big pathwatch (14) around Lee Lane and Cottingley woods. The forecast promised dry weather but cloudy but there was no mention of the sun and blue skies that materialised half way through.

I loved this almost bare tree on its cluster of rocks against the blue. There are still quite a lot of trees in leaf especially oak trees giving nice colour but after more than a week a bit of blue sky was a very welcome sight.

Back home in time for coffee and I've even put a bit of washing out to blow.

Hope we get a bit more fine weather soon as we have one more square to do!
