What?!

What a shock to wake up to the American election results... I've read so much today, and have nothing to add...but praying for a brighter future for America than many fear it now has, for hope for those who feel incredibly disillusioned & destroyed, and for peace in a divided country. What a shock of a result. 

Tonight Claire and I went to an art gallery to watch L'Inferno, the 1911 silent film based on Dante's Inferno... As the silent film was played, an Ibicenco DJ played vinyls live in a set he put together to complement the film - it was incredible! There were only about 25 of us, 23 must have been older Ibicencos, then Claire & me! Ha! It was good to go out and have a fun evening with Claire (& all for free!) and not think about Donald Trump.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Having a hope that goes beyond mind-boggling & horrifying politics.
2) A great morning praying with the 2 new team members who will run the San Antonio work.
3) Blue sky & yellow flowers...and remembering that the world can still be beautiful & good.
