Why don't cyclists use facilities made for them?

Both sides of this road are designated, marked, cycle lanes. I'll let you figure out why cyclists don't use them (hint: the left hand side is even official parking, the left side unenforced yellow lines).

One of those days. Meetings taking up all the afternoon, staying late, taking the laptop home to finish up, puncture a mile from home, and (voluntarily granted) gave up a day off on Friday so I can make sure some stuff is done.

Oh yeah, and America voted in a mysoginistic, racist, moron. Thoughts in the extra, but really that actually affects my life less than parking on cycle lanes, and in all reality Trump will soon find out how little power the president actually has (more worrying is that it legitimises the views really).
