The big shopping centre

Ten minutes up the road there is a big shopping centre with almost no shops trading. Nonetheless like all hotels in India these days, it has a security system where you walk through the metal detector then go to one of these two booths according to sex where a young woman gave the gentlest touch to one side of my body. The 15 minute walk up and back was along the road as the footpaths are not usable for one reason or another. One shares the road with pedestrians , bicycles, rickshaws, going in either direction despite the presence of a formidable median strip, put-puts, small cars, larger cars, trucks, cows and today a man on a horse. Everything that has a horn or a bell ring or toot it constantly. Even though one's energy is low a trip to the outside world almost invariably is stimulating and energising.
