Lumberjack

Very warm today! Only time of year it's not COLD in our cabin--love it!! Got our exercise early in the rowing boat and took the camera for some pretty good seal/island/kelp pictures. But.... I decided to blip my husband H surviving the chainsaw once again thank goodness, because I really liked how the light fell on this. This rotten tree fell across one of our favorite paths a few days ago and he wanted to make better access to the trail. Rotten tree, easy to cut, right? The first pass hit a rock embedded in the tree so it was back down to sharpen the saw for 20 minutes.
More cutting will be required when it's not so terribly dry here. Life in the woods......
