Tomorrow sees a very exciting moment. I'm lucky enough to be part of the introduction of surgery of Implantable Macular Telescopes. In simple terms, similar to a cataract operation but installing a telescope in people who are blind and returning some sight to them. Life changing operations, and I am both fortunate and excited to be part of it. This pic is my trying out the simulator on my pal Sal. So not the actual telescope!!
