Comfort Food

A very domesticated day, but after all my jumping around over the last 10 days, it was overdue.

It was dry and sunny - but windy (from the north) and cold - so I managed 3 hours in the garden doing autumn tasks. Between that, 2 loads of laundry (useful thing a brisk north wind) and a big pile of ironing, that's about it.

"Feet up" time now, thankfully. Sunset was 4.20pm, so after that the options are more limited.

I forgot to take dinner out of the freezer last night, so the next task is to figure out plan B.

Lunch was Italian lentil soup I'd made in the morning and as it's one of the day's highlights, it got the Blip.
