Well, fed up writing about the doldrums.

A mixed day. I did manage a wee stroll in the afternoon just as the light was starting to fade. One of those Blip benefits - if I hadn't been scratching my head about what to Blip, probably I'd have got in the car and gone straight home.

The white houses on Hie-Gait were a good bet in the circumstances. A bit of brightness.

The house on the front left dates from 1750. The one behind it is from 1582.

They're right on the seafront (behind me as I took the shot). Between that and their age, maintenance must be expensive.
