Sweet Child of Mine

Two Parks and a Hairdresser

I've noticed that Elizabeth isn't getting much out of our usual activities anymore. I think they are all a bit samey. Shame, because Rebecca's been getting more out of them.

So I've decided to try and find some new things to do. There's already the ballet classes which will start up in September. Plus I've booked us onto a trial Tumble Tots lesson. And there's a Tiny Tots class in Dereham that I'm going to try in a couple of weeks. Hopefully a bit of variety will help.

But contrary to that, we ended up going to the park twice today. Although they were different parks. Elizabeth's favourite things at the moment are parks, books and Harry Potter (don't ask). So the parks worked. Plus Rebecca loves the swings, and at the second park she can crawl around and stand up lots.

In between the parks we went to the hairdressers, for me. Rebecca slept through and Elizabeth handed out business cards to everyone, jumped on the sofa and swung on a chair. She was quite happy.

Tomorrow I'm going to be brave and attempt a proper day out with the girls on my own. I may live to regret this...

That's all, but if someone could convince my youngest that 5.30am is an unreasonable time to wake up everyday that would be great.
