Still colourful
Last night we had the delight of a new cultural experience by attending a concert given by a Ukulele orchestra! This was something I had never heard before and, knowing the limitations of that instrument, it was curiosity which drove us there. However it was thoroughly enjoyable. Plenty of banter, some stories, virtuoso playing by one band member, lots of graphics up on the screen during the playing and, above all, nobody taking themselves or the band too seriously. It might take me sometime to forget the interpretation of the StarWars theme by 7 ukuleles, a bass guitar and drums!!!
We went on Cooriedog walk 2 this morning through some glorious mixed woodland with pine needles falling like rain. While much autumn colour has gone, there was still plenty around. The lichen testified to the quality of the air. Lovely.
