The Hermitage

As the climax to our photographic break Eric and I decided to visit the Hermitage near Dunkeld on our way home even though it involved a considerable diversion. We knew the beech woods there should be pretty stunning and we were not disappointed. I have included three extra photos as a single shot cannot hope to sum up the stunning colours there. I fully expect these shots to be my final sequence in the autumn colours project.
