Grodsky Street
Arrived at our hotel in Krakow at teatime on Monday 31st, Halloween. After unpacking we had our dinner in the hotel restaurant - the best soup I have ever eaten! Zurek; it was a dark broth made from fermented rye, with white sausage, marjoram and quail egg, served in a hollowed out loaf, which had been toasted on the outside. Yum Yummmmm!
Following dinner we went for a wander up and down the street, and located a mini-market to buy the essentials: bottle of wine and a bottle opener!
Back to our room to read, chat, drink, and relax, and finally fall asleep at midnight.
