The Northern Documentary Group
We met in Kibblesworth Village Hall this morning. There were two new members and the meeting had quite a buzz.
We looked at more images of Country Shows taken by members throughout this year. Some people had been to a good number and there was a great variety of images.
A couple of our members produce excellent mono work. Pete, pictured here, has always used mono, from the very first film he was given with a Pentax ME Super, years ago. He was offered a colour film but opted for black and white.
I just love this image of the bulldog and Peter was happy to pose with it for me. I did ask him not to smile but that didn't work!
Our Country Shows project has come to a pause and we are going to look at each other's current work at the next meeting.
Back home it is much colder again.
I did not have time to pick up the local paper, the Hexham Courant, this morning so I have to wait until tomorrow to see the article about the exhibition of music images. Can't wait - but have to.
