Good Vibrations!

Went to see Brian Wilson and two guess artists (whose names I unfortunately don't remember), but on-stage with BW was also Al Jardine (one of the founding members of The Beach Boys) and Al's son Matthew - who can belt out a Beach Boys song and hit the high notes where Brian and Al can't anymore!

A great evening, and I was surprised at how many twenty-somethings were there dancing away to Beach Boys classics! NICE. There was quite a bit of newer materials from the Pet Sounds album which is marking it's 50th anniversary this year. Some of it not totally comprehensible (the music, not the lyrics), but honestly, I have never seen so many professional musicians on a stage before - apart from when we went to the Opera House. They didn't compromise on any of the sounds you hear on the original records.

And later, we went to the Irish Village to have Guinness and as we left, we saw the instruments being loaded up, having already been packed by roadies. They're back to the US.
