Desert Rose

Only one photo today, so that’s easy (the first new flower on our Desert Rose since it was given to us). Spent the rest of the day slowly, but fairly effectively, ploughing through papers, making long-delayed phone calls and generally trying to put my office in order. Then a last-minute dash to the theatrical costumes shop to kit ourselves out for a fancy dress party on Saturday. The lady remembered us from when we hired costumes for HH’s 70th and was most helpful. Maybe I’ll post a photo of our two disguises on Sat.
 
Now for an early bed, after a delicious supper of HH’s curry on brown bread (too lazy to make rice, let alone the other trimmings).
