USA Backblip #11 : Goblin State Park
Ticked off another Slot Canyon located in the small but unusual Goblin State Park Area.
This one required some scrambling over large boulders resulting from a recent flash flood travelling through the Slot Canyon. These boulders blocked the lower reaches of the canyon, and brought the various advisory notices to check the weather and only head into these canyons when there is no risk of rain. There really would be no escape if you were caught in here, the walls are smooth, generally steep and I guess extremely slippery when wet.
All-in-all glad to have had chance to see this canyon in the dry.
