Classic Stourhead

Took myself off to Stourhead very early to avoid the queues but already there were  plenty of bearded photographers wearing beanies, wielding tripods,  occupying all the best spots off the paths and therefore in the way of those only allowed behind the ropes! The sun refused to show and my wee camera had a tough time so I walked quickly around spying lots of toadstools and then sped of to have lunch with a cousin through the wonderfully named and pretty Deverill Valley which contains many Deverill villages straddling the Wylie  River .  The extra is the extraordinary sunrise today
