Toby confused this morning when he came in as our clock radio had automatically gone back an hour but his bedside clock still reading British summer time. We didn't get an extra hour in bed.

Took a while to get the kids out. There was breakfast, then second breakfast, then making stuff with clay then getting five sets of coats and shoes on, then various kids needing to go back in the house for wees.

We made it to Thornton res for a nice walk and play at the park. The park is on a hill so got great views of the stunning trees changing colour.

Lunchtime was a little fraught as Eliza only wanted to eat chocolate and had a tantrum when I said she had to have a sandwich first. She kept up for about an hour. Pretty impressive really but the shrieking was upsetting the dogs!!

They all left after lunch. Been lovely having them but our house isn't really big enough to have so many little people in it for long so it does feel a bit cramped, especially as all the toys had to come out all over the floor even though there was no interest in playing with half of them!!

Just about squeezed in a ride. Lime was flying. Lots to do back at home to get all the paperwork done for Sarah's first week in her own!!
