Sugar Skulls Are Back

A big part of the reason the upcoming Día de los Muertos is my favorite holiday are sugar skulls available only this time of year. I shoot photos of them every year, though I neglected to post one in 2015. I vowed that would not be the case this year and so was at the market in search of this year's entry before all the stalls were erected. Fortunately, the place that has the largest selection of these photogenic subjects was all ready to go so I could get my shot early in the process before the stock had been decimated (making the shot that much less successful).
