A Panormaic View

This is only part of the 180 degree view that blesses the dining room in the upstairs of the hotel. It's quite brilliant as you get sights of the 3-hole practice course, parts of the East Course not obscured by trees & of the surrounding lush countryside. Work was incredibly quiet today, so there was plenty of time to take in the scenery. Some of the chefs live in the house in the foreground.

The rain & humidity were out in full force today, so it seems like the perfect opportunity to make a mid-week trip to Devon to catch up with some of Jenny's friends (who have informed us that it's even wetter!). Jenny & I are looking forward to our little trip away, should be fun, with raincoats in hand obviously. We set sail shortly (old sailing metaphors die hard).
