'The Eagle' Pub and World War 2 Ceiling.

Once again, into 'The Eagle 'Pub shown yesterday, for morning coffee and a photo opportunity. This is the R.A.F. Bar, with it's famous ceiling, which boasts signatures, squadron numbers and fighter bomber wings of R.A.F. and U.S. personnel from the Second World War. History was burnt into the ceiling using candles, lighters and for the ladies, lipstick. It forms a unique record of the armed forces who came together here to enjoy precious moments of relaxation amongst friends.
