Too Darn Hot

I always quite liked this version. Which is just as well as GEMA (German Copytight body) has blocked all the Ella Fitzgerald versions.

41°C on the terrace today and it felt like it. The only thing that seems to have kept its cool and not look like wilting was this rose. I think this is a rather sensually beautiful thing. I have no doubt I will be reminded that it-is-ONLY-a flower-and-how-long-were-you-out-in-the-sun-for?

I shall not listen. I like this.
