This is Micha

Micha started visiting the House in The City Of Bears a couple of months ago. He was a half-feral cat or at least a recidivist-feral cat. You could hear him miaowing really loudly as he approached, but he had no trust in people. However, he has mellowed somewhat as he realised that here was a place where he could get fed, and no-one was going to be horrid to him.

Now he wanders quite happily into the house, has a nose about and will sit quite close. He even lets my QSM stroke him a bit. No-one else though, just her. He looks a lot better than the scrawny, tick-infested vagabond that first appeared. In time, he will be a very handsome cat. Nowhere near as handsome as Moot but handsome nonetheless.

I had a day out today: working in the garden, dealing death to various plants (sometimes the right ones) and providing food for various insects. I had my iPod and was listening to some old disco classics, it was great.

Apart from the bit where I tried to cut the top of my index finger off . Thank heavens for protective gloves. The bruise should be an interesting colour tomorrow. Oh, and Lisa (the lovely house cat) brought me a shrew. I talked her out of eating it, and after half an hour in a quiet and tranquil place, the shrew was returned to the forest - beautiful thing up close.
