Gardener Boy

Phew - what a busy day! I was getting ready for our Airbnb guests arriving tonight and before I knew it I was cutting back our jungle of a patio. Some of the marquessa and banana leaves are taller than me, Ferran, our next door neighbour, was doing the same. Bb came back for a quick lunch to find 3 big bin bags full of greenery to take out to the bins. He then decided to take the bull by the horns and tidy it even more, which meant, as you can see here, him going onto the patio on the other side of the wall from ours (accessed through someone's flat) and they were delighted as they'd asked us to cut our ivy back. Fresh food market and supermarket shopping done, lemon drizzle cake out the oven, guests arrived. Delighted wth the house and the room and they're now in bed as they're exhausted from long flights from China. We're still catching up with The Great British Bake Off. We just have the final to watch now, so no spoilers please!
