All Smoke And Mirrors

Well the day didn't go to plan and no Chub were taken! It was still a fabulous day, a great catch up with my mate, comfortable weather, a stream of wildlife ( kingfisher, longtailed tits, jays to list a few) and some fish. The day saw pike dace barbel minnows and a trout., I was introduced to a new technique and finished up back on the swingtip which accounted for the barbel in extras and one other that didn't stop and left me minus any terminal tackle !
Sad to say I have not caught up with but a few of your journals very tired now and bed is calling, Illuminating York tomorrow so may struggle again :(
