Prizes!!

Some of the younger children on the bus like to give me Christmas gifts. Once the children get older it isn't cool to give the driver things so they don't. But while they are little they do.
Erika and Travis' parents go waaaaay overboard and give me $50. This is the 3rd year they have done this. So very nice of them. And their children are a joy to have on the bus!!! Another little girl in senior kindergarden gave me the little tin you see in the picture. When she handed it to me she said, "And you get to keep the tin!" Her mother bakes the most amazing treats and fills the tin with them.
I suspect tomorrow may be a snow day and we won't have any buses running. The children want to go to school though because they are all having their Christmas parties then TWO WEEKS OFF!! yay!

Oh yeah!...the title....my mom had a friend who used to call gifts...prizes...I always thought that was cute....do you remember her Larry....Mrs. Miller.

*** I don't know why they gave me an American bill....I guess that's all they had!!
