Murder most fowl!

on College Green, right in front of City Hall and Cathedral.  The upside down crow was being attacked ferociously by the one standing over it.  Two other crows hearing the cries rushed over and chased it away.  This happened several times but the murderer came back again and again till I stepped in and gave the stricken victim a coup de grâce (and popped it into a litter box nearby).  So I suppose in the end I was the murderer but you can see the triumphant crow walking away from the nearly dead one and some gentle crewel blue birds to make you feel better in the extras.
How I wished I had my Lumix - the point and shoot can't cope with scenes like this.
