Up early-ish for a Saturday and met Mark at Haymarket at nine. We jumped on a train through to Glasgow where we grabbed a decent breakfast at Carluccio's then a quick coffee from the lab then jumped in a taxi down to Cathcart Road for a pre match pint and to pick up our tickets.

The semi-final kicked off just after noon and while it wasn't the most scintillating performance ever it was an efficient one from Aberdeen and they eventually ran out 2 - 0 winners.

After that match we met with Malc and his laddie for a lift back to Edinburgh, with the prospect of a cup final next month on the cards.

A good Saturday. Cheers again to Mark for sorting out the tickets and Malc for the lift!
