Doune Castle

A trip Bridge of Allan to order a carpet. A trip to B&Q for electrical 'stuff' and unexpectedly saw lampshades that we liked and so bought.

On the way back home we saw Doune Castle nestled amongst the autumnal colours and decided to stop. Unfortunately the colours are not right up close to the castle but we had a nice  wander around anyway and encountered a lovely old dog plodding through the fallen leaves. (see extra).

There seemed to be quite a bit of renovation work going on inside. (See extra).
