Ancient oak
The house is all peaceful again today - revellers returned to their respective residences. Pete and I had an afternoon walk round Old Sulehay Firest, where we found this huge multi-stemmed oak. At the other end of the scale, we found the tiniest Limestone Waxcap Hycrocype calciphila in the mossy turf of the adjacent disused quarry (see extra).
