Boy on the Beach

It's been a busy day. Ella and I were swimming for 1.5 hours. They are saving money by having the pool really cold but she was enjoying it so much we stayed.

After lunch we all went to Boulmer beach in the camper van. It was really cold, windy and wet when we got there so they played pretend games going up and down the ladder to the bed above the cab. One was sick in bed and the other was the doctor. They took turns. It was all fun, but luckily the rain stopped so we went to play on the beach. They ran about collecting different sorts of seaweed to make what she said was a mermaid and he said was a stegosaurus. So much for gender neutral toys. The blip is Nathamiel, aged 2, his seaweed - and the chilly North Sea.

They are in bed - apparently their parents, in Palma meeting friends who live there, were just getting to bed this morning when Ella was up asking me if it was morning yet.

I just hope the plane bringing them home tomorrow afternoon is not delayed!
