Mad dogs and Irishmen

The temperatures took a sharp upward turn today but we headed off in the midday sun for Kolymvari. Dermot had a student for an hour or so near there, so we had a very hot wander in the village. Less touristy and a lot of fishing boats, some net mending and a languid air about. I had to sit in the shade for a bit. You'll be happy to know the knee length shorts have stayed up, but only thanks to one of those extra buttons M&S put in. I fear it will fly off, killing a small child, after lunch soon.
Having fed the cafe cat we headed over the hills by car for Ravdoucha. A gorgeous cove on the other side with a beautiful taverna. On the way we stopped at an old church, cut into the hill, filled with icons, flowers and votive offerings.
A few here too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/michaelplaice/sets/72157675550190675
