Sunshine on Hoy (Day 529)

I wandered up the hill a bit earlier than normal this morning, then headed straight across to Mum's so that I could say goodbye to my sister and her tribe before they caught the boat south. It has been great to have them here.
After a trip to the Post Office and a coffee with mum and dad, the dogs and I trundled back home where I made a start on the re-organisation of a bit of plumbing. I worked away until lunchtime, then took the dogs to Wasdale. We were briefly caught by a passing shower but the weather was fairly reasonable and I liked the light on Hoy today.
Once home, I carried on plumbing whilst the dogs slept. I finished off just in time for my beautiful wife to come home from a ridiculously long shift.
