Wild (Day 168)

The missing wind found its way back overnight and I awoke to the roar of a gale blowing outside. The morning wander up the hill wasn't too unpleasant. Despite being blown to a standstill on several occasions the rain held off until I was returning to the car with my back to the wind.
I headed to town to collect my beautiful wife from her work and we spent a little while at home before it was time to drop her at shift number two. Whilst she was away I fixed the CD player in her car and took the dogs to Brodgar. The wind speed has increased since this morning and walking was difficult. I wasn't so lucky with the rain and the heavens opened as I was walking back to the car, into the wind. 60mph rain stings a bit.
