Friday with Fiona

Friday started with fun breakfast out with blipper friend Mike and our husbands…then a walk, and not much else real useful and it was time to pick up Fi from school.  she wanted to play on the playground for a bit first and then we went to the Burke Museum on the UW campus where we haven’t been in a long time…they are building a big new one next door..we will be sorry to see our favorite cafe (where we had a snack) go… looked at stuff,, had to ask where the favored plastic dinosaurs were as they had been moved (had to play with them as always) —and decided to take a picture on the way in at the big W where we see lots of UW students posing all the time.  Who knows, maybe this one will go there someday.  Then to the bookstore for a few things and home to make stuff (and a big mess) for a couple of hours (witches, spiders, snakes, pumpkins, drawing and stickers in the Room on the Broom book, and she made pancakes for dinner (the extra). She does not run out of energy!.....but now I’m exhausted so will just pick a picture from many and it’s time to get under the covers with a book.
