Val De La Mare #2

It's a gorgeous day and so I popped down to the reservoir to get a shot of it in different light. We've had rain this week but I don't think it's made much difference to the water level at all. I took this just after 9am before the sun is over the top of the fields on the left.

I had a lovely walk, not meeting a soul and only hearing birds and insects. I saw two butterflies, a white and a wall brown enjoying the early morning sunshine.

I'm off to meet a good friend (Tracey)for coffee and cake this afty. We haven't seen each other since the beginning of August so there'll be lots to catch up on.
