Day's End

This day definitely did not go as expected. It was a blessing that some family members were anxious to see us after our lengthy time away. Hubby's mom came by to visit, and my mom brought dinner and dessert over tonight. She and my dad joined us for dinner. All of this was part of our original plan. However, my sister-in-law had a family emergency today which kept shifting plans as she and her sons possibly needed to stay with us. We are not normally here to help when our family is in need. So we were thankful that we could help. God blessed tremendously in that everyone was safe by evening and able to return home. Added in the mix was tons of laundry, a return to school for the boys, and a trip to the doctor with youngest. That is why the only picture I have is of the lamp by my bed. Good night!
