Windsor Days

Mum and I took a run into Windsor to have a wander around. Looked at the castle, went shopping! Priorities!

Got a few wee bits and pieces, as did Mum, it was nice to have a look about and show Mum the usual haunts in one of our favourite local towns.

In the evening, watched a bit of tv, made dinner and chilled for our last evening together. Been a lovely few days having her here and will be strange waking up in the morning and her not being in the sitting room with a big cuddle.

We are back up in a 3 weeks to Scotland, so not long to go!

Todays Blip is of the castle - and more importantly the flags. I wonder when all of the Olympics paraphernalia will be taken down? It is such a shame that the Olympics are finished now. The one thing that I did enjoy about the past fortnight, is the camaraderie of strangers! You can spark up a conversation anywhere, with anyone about anything Olympic related! Also, I wonder if we will see another Olympics in the UK in our life time?!
