Tidal gate

On the drive back to Holyhead from Chester we diverted to Conwy Marina. The Ards Man bought our yacht from Conwy a number of years ago so he wanted to make a little nostalgic visit!

There is a really strong tide in and out of the marina and a tidal gate stretches across the neck of the entrance. Mariners here certainly need to do their homework before taking their boats out!

A really super day though and a great drive through Flintshire and Anglesey.
