On the way back

A lovely autumn day today saw us plodding up Langdale to the Old Dungeon Ghyll Hostelry.  We opted for the very low level walk on the way out and the not quite so low level walk on the way back.  This shot was taken from where we had stopped for a little rest and a look back up the valley.

We decided we prefer the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel to the old one because the bar person in the Old one made a comment about not making much profit out of us as I only had a soda water.  We were going to order lunch as well but went back to Sticklebarn instead.  Maybe he was joking.

16,500 steps so far today then!  A good soak in the spa pool is on the cards now!
