Wrung out!
Today was my last treatment session at the Ki Clinic, so my colon was well and truly put through its paces! As the title of my blip suggests, I feel well and truly wrung out, in a good way.
I have a review next week where they will do a retest for my intolerances and she recommended a further colonic in a months time, followed by another in the New Year.
I have to continue with the probiotics, but at a lower dosage and after the retest, I can think about introducing things back into my diet.
Some things I'm not bothered about at all; I don't need milk anymore as the soya milk is fine for my cereal. Pasta is something else I can manage without as I've got used to having courgetti instead. I may have the occasional slice of bread (especially garlic bread!), but will try and keep flour based products to a bare minimum, or as a treat.
Other things are going to have to be permanently excluded though, especially fish, which I've had a couple of bad reactions to this past week.
It would be nice to be able to eat fruit and salad again, but these again are going to have to be in moderation. The same goes for chocolate!
All in all, I feel much better for having this treatment done and I'm glad the awful cramps have gone now and I'm not relying on prescription medication to keep them at bay.
Today's photo is from the Heritage Centre in Accrington; they have all sorts of things from days gone by. I thought this mangle tied in well for today ;-)
