Inverness

Last day of our holidays and as the forecast was for rain we decided to travel north to Inverness for some retail therapy:-)
The rain that was forecast didn't materialise and we had a very pleasant drive north with lovely views of Loch Ness.
Shopping done we headed back to Fort William stopping at Fort Augustus for a stroll along the Caledonia canal and a quick circuit of the village.
The village was a good deal quieter than last Saturday when we passed through en route to Spean Bridge.
The rain that was forecast still hadn't arrived which we were very glad about :-)
Back now in Spean Bridge and it's time to start my packing for our journey home to Campbeltown.
