What a difference a day makes . . .

. . . yesterday was great and what we needed, but if we had the same today the signs where there that we would have started to go a bit stir crazy. So luckily the weather was far more what we were expecting!

The  Atlantis towers are just a mile down the road so we wandered down and admired the gopping casino and Gucci type shops, even asking a how much various watches were at the Rolex shop (before being given that fixed ‘Sir, you may leave now stare’) Maybe asking if they were real wasn’t appropriate . .

Back to the pool in the afternoon which was really good as we had it virtually to ourselves,  Lea still found someone to talk to while I explored.  It’s a figure of 8 shape with a cave in the middle with underwater seats and lights and a waterfall for a door!! Lots of fun and games to be had there . . .

First dining out experience was another walk to Antony’s Seafood and ribs bar. We fortunately sussed out that the portions were huge by the people next to us whose table was literally creaking under the weight of their food. Saved quite a few dollars of more than u can eat food there!

We met an interesting Bahamian man while looking for a taxi who was a friend of Donald Trump! Donald must have spent some time here as the taxi driver also new him, as did two guys in the liquor store, who apologised for having an “animated conversation” about him!
